STRUCTURE OF THE COMPETITION

From year 2002, the Busoni Competition has modified its traditional own structure, choosing the event to be biennial.
In this way, a first year of the Competition is dedicated to the Selections, in which are selected the 24 entrants that the next year will participate to the Final Phases. In concomitance with this shift, is also been created the Piano International Festival Ferruccio Busoni. The Festival happens in the Preselections year and takes inspiration from the history and the tradition of the Competition.
